Sheffield Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Clubs worked hard to reverse the decision to mothball Ponds Forge Leisure Centre. Sheffield City Council reconsidered it’s position announcing that the venue is to open its doors to all in October.

We want to move forwards and use this platform to support the leisure sector in Sheffield. In line with new campaign objectives, we have changed our name to ‘Support Sheffield Sport and Leisure.’ In the coming months we want to provide a voice for the Sporting bodies in the city and reignite Sheffield City Council’s commitment to being a ‘City of Sport.’
