Are you just OVER your issues with food and its effects on your life?!
I hear you loud and clear, because let me tell you, I've been there too. For years I used food when I was sad, when I was stressed, when I was bored, when I was mad at my husband, or frustrated with my kids. You name the struggle, and I'll tell you how I used food as my crutch.
When I had a long day, it was my relief. When I felt alone, it was my companion. When I was bored, it was something to do. When I was happy, I used food to elevate that feeling.
Food was my solution to every problem and feeling.
The truth is that the food never helped me. I was happy for a moment, but then frustrated and miserable after the "high" wore off. I spent years living in defeat. I put ideas in my own head about what I could or could not do based on the size of my body. Food, and my thoughts about my body controlled me. Living with these chains on drained me of my energy, and prevented me from looking outward at what I wanted to use my one and only life to accomplish.
What I learned through all of this was that that everything starts in the mind. EVERYTHING. I developed the desire and discipline to stay committed no matter how many times I fell down. And trust me I fell down a lot and I still do.
I learned that true freedom doesn't lie in what your body looks like or how thin you are. It's the managing of your mind: discovering what damaged belief systems you hold, learning to feel your feelings and not react, and choosing to think on purpose. That, my friend, is what is going to break the chains and allow you to lose the extra weight, lose the extra baggage, and lose it for good.
